Understanding our Feature Release Process

  1. Idea Submission: Customers can propose new ideas by clicking the “New Idea” button in the Help Centre.
  2. Review, Prioritization & Planning:
    1. Idea Review: The Prospecta Product team assesses submitted ideas (insights) on a weekly basis.
    2. Feature Backlog: Valuable insights are moved to the feature backlog for consideration.
    3. Prioritization: The Product team reviews and prioritizes the feature backlog every two weeks.
    4. Planning: Prioritized features are assigned a “Planned” status, and user feedback is actively incorporated into feature requests for upcoming releases.
  3. Feature Grooming: We engage with user feedback, conduct research, and define User Stories to outline feature requirements.
  4. Development: Our dedicated development team diligently implements new features and enhances existing functionalities.
  5. Testing: All releases undergo rigorous testing to ensure stability, functionality, and compatibility across platforms before going live.
  6. Deployment: After successful testing, the new release is deployed to our customer environments, making it accessible to all users.
  7. Communication: We use release notes to communicate essential release details, including new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. These notes also provide instructions on effectively utilizing new features and their associated business benefits.
